Fuzhou Lakeside Hotel - Fuzhou (Fujian)

The hotel is directly opposite a massive lake, and the fine views from our Beautiful Suite were captivating, especially at night with the illuminated Fuzhou Ferris wheel.

Unfortunately, the breakfast offerings could have been more diverse, lacking some options we were hoping for .

Strongly recommend for a brief retreat

Spacious room, comfortable mattress, with amazing views of the illuminated lake that transformed the evenings into a magical experience.

A Perfect Family Getaway by the Lake!

Enjoying the breakfast buffet every morning seemed like a feast, with local delicacies and Western favorites. The kids loved the playroom. Don't miss the exquisite Chinese restaurant, a must-try!

The hotel's lakeside view from the Beautiful Suite created a serene atmosphere, perfect for our family vacation. Breakfast featured a good variety, including cured meats, satisfying both local and Western tastes. Some common areas needed maintenance, and the air conditioning struggled during peak afternoon heat were good.

Lakeside view from our Beautiful Double Room was fine. Staff friendly, helping with bike tours around the lake. Breakfast lacked variety, leaving some items depleted too early.

great lakeside location but minor upkeep needed

The hotel staff were cute and efficient during our six-night stay. The lakeside view from our room was fine. Breakfast options were plentiful, with delicious local dishes that impressed us greatly.

Some areas of the hotel seemed to be in need of slight maintenance.

The lack of breakfast options was pretty frustrating, especially since we arrived just as it opened and there was hardly anything left. Be sure to ask about the restaurant hours before planning meals.

The views from our Beautiful Double Room were amazing. The location was perfect for walking along the lake and exploring nearby attractions. Don't miss the local markets for a taste of authentic cuisine. The breakfast buffet was also a highlight with lots of tasty options.

The hotel's restaurants felt dated, with one menu that barely passed for Western food, bland and uninspired at best. Although the room was clean, the corridor carpets were in dire need of replacement. Lastly, the restaurant hours were inconsistent, leading to confusion about meal times.

The fine lake view from my Beautiful Suite was refreshing. Enjoying breakfast with a mix of local and Western dishes added a good touch. The warm atmosphere surrounding the hotel, including the serene boardwalk was great, despite the room's warmth.

Located by a beautiful lake with stunning views at night, this hotel has undergone a recent refurbishment. the rooms are clean and well-equipped, with comfortable beds and good air conditioning. the restaurant offers a wide range of food choices and the breakfast is excellent. Guests can enjoy a short walk along the boardwalk on the lake.

The hotel's location is quite far from other amenities, requiring transportation to explore the surrounding area.

The staff at reception and concierge were super nice and helpful. Lakeside cafeteria service staff provided excellent service and recognized us on our second visit. The buffet steamboat was good and we even received complimentary treats like abalone, sashimi, and mini lobster. The location is also a plus, with a great view of the lake from our room. The breakfast offered a good variety of Asian and Western cuisine, and the staff service was really good. Special thanks to Michael and Jonson for their excellent service.
